The Beluga Ex handheld empty enclosure is designed for applications in hazardous environments…in an approved material. The Polyamide 12 material, with its unique additives, makes the enclosure unusually impact resistant. These robust, ergonomically designed enclosures feature a tongue and groove sealing system with an integrated gasket that provides an ingress protection rating up to IP65.
     Beluga Ex enclosures are ideal for use as gas analyzers, data collectors, remote control units, or calibration devices. These enclosures are made to take the punishment in a hazardous location, whether in an oil rig, pulp mill, chemical plant, or refinery.
     All models are available in the closed design. The 180 and 220 are also offered in an open design for display mounting. The construction of the Beluga Ex 180 and 220 afford a lot of practical advantages-the angled head section makes the display easy to read; the upper portion is recessed to accommodate membrane keypads; and a large functional area is provided for electromechanical switches, buttons, or membrane keypads. The larger 380 model, with dimensions of 380 x 117 x 68 mm, opens up a wide range of application options like machine control devices, display enclosures, or measurement and control instruments.
     If you are working in a Class 1, Division 2 or a Class 1, Zone 1 or 2, the Beluga Ex handheld enclosure will work for you.
